I loved working on this project. I cast my client’s 80-year-old dad’s hands to make this cold-cast bronze sculpture as a birthday present.
I love the sculptural element of each cast making its own unique mark. The roughness in places shows the labour of these hands that have worked as a farmer for many years.
You can see the detail in the pores and even tiny little scars embedded in the sculptural elements of this work.
This sculpture is available in different mediums.
Please note that I roto cast and sculpt each sculpture by hand and that not one sculpture will look exactly the same as the other. Each sculpture has its own unique fingerprint and comes with its own authenticity certificate.
