80-YEAR-OLD HANDS

This 80-year-old dad’s hands life cold-cast bronze is a life-cast sculpture of my client’s dad’s hands who turned 80. What a unique and amazing birthday present.

Cold-cast Bronze

I loved working on this project and love the sculptural element of each cast making its own unique mark. The roughness in places shows the labour of these hands that have worked as a farmer for many years.

You can see the detail in the pores and even tiny little scars embedded in the sculptural elements of this work.

This sculpture is available in different mediums and can be cast in a variety of sizes.

Please note that I roto cast and sculpt each sculpture by hand and that not one sculpture will look exactly the same as the other. Each sculpture has its own unique fingerprint and comes with its own authenticity certificate.

Besides the original size, this sculpture can also be upsized for corporate and public sculptures.
