Encounter is a beautiful abstract painting. It features a variety of warm and cool colours. The painting invites you to explore and encounter beyond the ordinary into the extraordinary.

THE ENCOUNTER

As I painted this abstract, I felt that God spoke about His glory. Evidently to behold His beauty and glorify Him and really seek Him and His presence in intimate worship is to touch on experiencing His glory. To encounter His presence overwhelmingly surpasses any wow-factor and is beyond exhilarating. By the same token it surpasses our human understanding to the extend where you’ll find yourself overflowing and gurgling with belly laughs. All of a sudden you might find yourself spontaneously dancing with Jesus or spinning in circles. Or surprisingly you might catch yourself high-fiving and hugging the person in church whom you’ve never met before.

I experienced His tangible presence like a thick blanket as I kneeled in worship . The Fire and Fragrance Team visited our church and as I was on my knees, I felt a soft touch on my back. Then the next moment I burst out with Holy Spirit laughter.

His Presence was so strong. I felt as if I was glued to the floor.  His joy overflowed in waves of gurgling laughter.

This is the second time in my life where I experienced such a strong Holy Spirit joy encounter.  I could not get myself up without some friendly assistance. Undeniably I was literally drunk with joy.

Hidden Mysteries Revealed

Looking at the painting I definitely sense a very strong heavenly presence. And,.. yes once again I discovered that Holy Spirit pitched up in the painting. Can you spot “His Presence”?

The longer I look the more I see the supernatural revealed, a glimpse of heaven for us to discover behind and in the paint strokes.

In essence this painting invites us to encounter His glory and behold His beauty.

Moses asked The Lord to show Him His glory. In view of this I invite you to look closely behind the veil…Do you see what I see?

“…Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” And the LORD said, “I will all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” Then the LORD said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen” (Ex 33:18-23, NIV).
