Scripture reference: Isaiah 11:6

“The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.” (NIV)

I painted this painting at my local church during worship only. The sheep’s eyes are closed. Why?

I felt Holy Spirit speaking to me that as long as we fix our eyes on Jesus, our great Shepherd we need not fear evil. The lamb represents us, and the wolf represents the challenges and adversities.

It reminds me of the promise that we will stay in perfect peace even when we face trials and tribulations. The fact that a child will lead the wolf and lamb, speaks of safety and divine protection.
