I dreamt on the night of 31 May into 1 June 2021 that I looked at people and that their faces had sparkles in them… like glistening sparkles as the light comes onto moisture or fine sweat and it disperses silvery shiny rainbow-glistening sparkles.
I tried to look closer and zoom in with my focus and then I looked from different angles. Some faces were fragmented into this ‘heavenly glory glitter’ and the skin looked like it was almost see-through and fading into crystal clear.
It was an amazingly beautiful sight. I was mesmerized by the glory. Yes, this looked like a glistening, sparkling heavenly ‘glory’.
Some people as I looked at their faces had a few glistening twinkles, others the right side of their faces were almost completely covered from every angle in this glory reflection. It was like silvery- shining white glory light.
Then I also saw a few faces of people who did not have the sparkles, but just looked like flesh. I felt that the ones that did not “shine” were the ones whom God wanted to give His glory to and were marked to be saved and then they would also shine.
I felt that Holy Spirit spoke about Moses who had an encounter with God and because He was in His presence, he shone when he came back from the mountain.
This to me means that we need to be so intimate with God that we will radiate His presence.
I also feel that God is speaking about our heavenly bodies and eternal glory. If this that I have seen is a glimpse of what our eternal heavenly bodies will look like it’s beyond beautiful.
I simply lack the words to accurately describe the beauty. It would probably best describe the glory if I could write in a heavenly language.
I believe that The Lord is saying that this is the time where we will see God’s glory manifest in His people, and where we will see the divide between the light and the darkness as a stronger divide and that He wants us to shine His light into the darkness so that He can save His people.
We need to reach the lost and lead them to Christ. We need to shine His light into our everyday lives.
When I was asked to participate at the Intercontinental Praise and Worship Conference as a prophetic artist to represent South Africa, I immediately felt that God wanted me to paint the message of this dream.
I thought of a beautiful young lady in our church that I felt would make a beautiful portrait, but Holy Spirit told me that since it is a prophetic painting that it had to be a self-portrait.
He said that the self-portrait symbolizes His glory in each of us.
This painting reflects the transformation of His bride from the flesh into the Spirit, from the natural into the supernatural. There is a metamorphosis taking place and yet we are already filled with His glory.
He has chosen to live inside of us. If we could only see what we already look like in the Spirit, because of Christ in us, our spiritual eyes will open and be enlightened to receive a deeper revelation of His power at work in and through us.
I feel that I captured a small glimpse of what I have dreamt. I have tried to portray a multi-dimensional reality beyond the natural.
The touches of gold, copper, and silver leaf add to the shining glitter effect. The fragmentation of the right side of the face symbolises transfiguration. Galaxies from the forehead area point to the eternal and extradimensional spiritual and kingdom realities.
On the top right there is a gold and silver winged element. I felt that this represents the new life and transformation like a spiritual glory butterfly. The eye has a silver leaf sparkle by the iris and its vision moves into a piece of the multi-dimensional fragmentation and dispersion of vision.
The multi-colored headscarf represents God’s covering. It is synonymous with Joseph’s coat. The colour blue represents the outpouring of The Holy Spirit on all flesh and the colour purple represents the prophetic.
God says in Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17 that in the last days He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh and that His sons and daughters will prophesy, old man, will dream dreams, and the young man will see visions.
The Scripture that God crowns the Christ in us self-portrait is 2 Cor 3:18: “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (NIV)
